Kangana Ranaut gives in to director’s bikini demand

Kangana Ranaut gives in to director’s bikini demand: She took time to make up her mind, but Kangana Ranaut has finally acceded to director David Dhawan’s demand to wear a bikini for a scene in his comedy film Rascals.

The scene was initially to be shot in Thailand. In the scene a bikini-clad Kangana was supposed to emerge out of the sea, wet and voluptuous, and walk towards the camera while the lead actors Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan ogle at her breathlessly.

However, during the shoot in February when the time came to film the scene on a beach in Thailand, Kangana had copped out, stalling the shoot for many hours. She had then flown to Mumbai to promote her film Tanu Weds Manu.

Meanwhile, Dhawan had moved on with the shoot, hoping to convince Kangana at a later time. Well, he has now convinced Kangana but not fully.

We hear the actress will be seen in a bikini in the film, but she won’t get wet. She is apparently not comfortable getting wet in the bikini. So she has opted for the two-piece on condition that she remains dry.

Hope it won’t be drab.

Kangana Ranaut refused to wear the bikini?: Kangana Ranaut was game to don a bikini for a scene in director David Dhawan’s comedy film Rascals, but backed out at the last minute.

The shoot was being done in Thailand last week and the male co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan were ready for the scene in which Kangana was to emerge from the sea in nothing more than a sexy bikini. Reportedly, Dhawan had discussed the scene with Kangana before and she had not just given her nod but also shopped for the bikini.

But when the time came for Kangs to slip into a two-piece she had second thoughts and refused to do the scene. Several reasons are being cited for her flip-flop. One is that she backed out after learning that in the scene Sanjay and Ajay were supposed to ogle at her. Another is that she was not comfortable in slipping into the two-piece because she has gained weight recently and did not want her flab to be seen.

Whatever the reason, we hear the shoot was stalled for hours after Kangana refused to wear the bikini despite persuasion by the director and co-stars. Not just that, she later left the Thailand shoot mid-way and flew down to Mumbai to promote her film Tanu Weds Manu.

Thankfully, the issue has now been sorted out and we hear that Kangana has at last agreed to wear the bikini.
